Nurse Sheneman
I've been a Registered Nurse for 14 years, I spent most of my career in a clinical setting in Labor and Delivery with Banner Health. During my 14 years in nursing I not only had experience in Labor and Delivery, I trained staff in Neonatal Resuscitation, taught Childbirth Education to soon to be parents, worked at an infertility clinic to help couples become parents, and I also spent two years as a Pediatric Home Health Nurse for a terminally ill boy.
I have been at SPA since the 2017-2018 school year and I love every second of my job! I really enjoy being able to help our students to feel better while at school, whether it is with medication, meditation, or just being there for them when they need some extra time.
I am a CPR Certified Instructor, and this past year have certified all of our faculty and staff in CPR and AED. I also look forward to training all of our High School students in CPR this year.
I have two children, my daughter is a 6th grader here with me at SPA, and my son is a 1st grader at Archway Scottsdale. Being a parent of a student in our Great Hearts schools provides me with a unique insight as to how to best care for our students and help support our parents.
